We couldnt leave them out. We are just looking for a good place to shoot a lot of dogs and mybe camp. We think it sounds like a lotta fun. Id aprecciate any help! thanks

I know that if you talk to a indian reservation that you can shoot dogs for a cheap prices. If you find a good place make sure that you post it, we plan on heading out there this summer.

I've been at this place twice in the last two years. It's off any reservation ( close to Rosebud though). The owners of the cottage you can stay in get you in contact with landowners that take you out and show you where to set up. It's a good deal too. It costs 25.00/night/guy to stay in the cottage. It has room for at least 8 guys, a full kitchen, living room and full bath.... Another 25.00/day/guy to shoot on the landowners properties. PM me and I'll give you the info. The cottage is in Wood, SD.

FYI... the best time to go is late June, early Aug....but you have to get your reservations in!

I know a person out around White River that is also $25/day lodging and $25/day to hunt. The cabins are real small though .

The Fort Pierre or Buffalo Gap National Grasslands have good dog hunting. No charge, free camping, park where ever you want. What you need to do is go asap, now is the best time to be there. They have not seen much hunting pressure, the grass is trying to grow and the dogs are sun tanning.

Check out varminthunter.org they are out of Fort Pierre 800-528-4868
