Anyone know???

Does anyone know where a person can view the Iowa DNR trophy "room" of deer that have been confiscated from poachers or picked up as road-kill?

There have been a few that have "became" DNR property from around my hometown. I know of one in particular that was hit on the highway and the guy wanted to keep the deer, but the DNR said NOPE, IT's OURs...or so I'm told.

Just curious.

That would seem to be a fair question.
They get REAL defensive when quizzed about their "inventory"

I live in Minnesota but I once spoke with a retired Iowa CO and all the racks that he confiscated or kept as car kills were in his basement. Maybe this is why most get defensive when they get quizzed about it. Its the same thing up here. Alot of Game Wardens and Highway patrolmen have great antler collections.
