API Skyhook Lag Bolts

Since they are no longer manufacturing these steps, I was browsing the web trying to locate some and found a page referring to a company in Albia called Tree Hopper that makes these bolts. I called but got an out of service message. Anyone know anything about this company? Still in business?

Anyone know another source I could buy some lag bolts for these tree steps?

The bolts are easy to come by, its the drill bit that is hard to get. You can get the bolts from any fastner supplier. They are 3/8x 4" grade 8 bolts, black. I can get them for less than 50 cents each. Let me know if you need a name of a place to order some.

Thanks. Drill bit? Do you need to enlarge the hole in the step to allow it to fit the 3/8" bolt?
