App recommendation?

Can anyone recommend their preferred GPS app for an Android? There are many to choose from, but I suspect someone here can shorten my research cycle. :D

One of the ideas I have is to be able to communicate to my wife, via phone, my exact coordinates in case I should ever need to have someone come to my aid in an emergency. (In case of a fall, accident, etc.)

I also wouldn't mind marking certain spots like next week when I am fishing on LOTW and I see a muskie!

I have a app called Navionics. I have an iPhone but I know people who have droids and they also have it. It's essentially like having navionics or lake master chips just on your phone. And don't quote me on it but I believe it has coordinates such as latitude and longitude. It cost 11 dollars I think but would hopefully be worth it for you situation!

I take my garmin 62s with me every time i go into the wood. Being a hang and hunt hunter i like to mark all possible trees when i see them, also saves the battery on my phone. That is a very good idea to send your location to someone, I'll have to do that this season.

ScoutLook is an app that uses GPS to mark locals (Treestands, trail cams, fishing hot spots) But I'm not sure if you can send your location via your phone in case to are in need of help.
Lots of very cool stuff these apps can do, I'll keep messing with it on my phone and see if I can figure out how to send a location.
