Apple surprise

I was eating a Pink Lady Crisp apple today and these things are my personal favorite. A real crisp apple and lots of times you take a bit and it goes deep enough to open up the seed "cavity". That happened again today and when one of the seeds fell on the floor I noticed it had sprouted. I began to dig around and found 6 total seeds that had all sprouted. Definately going to get these into some black dirt a.s.a.p. today!

Anyone ever noticed or tied this?

I've been doing some reading and it doesn't sound like they will grow to be apple trees that produce fruit just like the apple I got them from but any apple trees for wildlife will work. At least its worth a shot! And if the seeds continue growing into something that looks like a tree you can have one Paul! But don't get your hopes up, this could take a few years

When growing from seed, you never know what you will get. That is how they get new varieties. You may get something even better than a Pink Lady, but then again, it may be more like a crabapple. Nothing lost trying tho!!!
