Apple tree question

I was wondering what type of tree(s) does best along a river area? Any body have success with a certain type of tree that would probably get flooded. Hoping to put some in this fall (soon) instead of the spring to get it going. thnx

Apples and low wet areas might not work. Certain oaks should do fine ...

Apples & wet feet aren't a good combo. Rootstocks will be more important, read about the different rootstocks and some may do better on wetter areas.
