Check out the NAP Apache, I love mine. I used to have a ripcord and it worked well, until it quit working lol. I drew back on a buck, had the launcher arm in the upright position, but the arm never fell. Needless to say my arrow flew right over his back never to be seen again. It had to be a buck too, but that's just my luck I guess. I think I may have just gotten a junk one because I have heard good reviews, and when I sent it in to Ripcord they were very quick to send me a new one. But nonetheless I have switched to the Apache and it works awesome. Check out the reviews on it on Bass Pro or Cabelas websites. It also is pretty easy on the checkbook, you can pick one up brand new on ebay for $50 including shipping.
