I wasn't sure on this...can you assist another hunter after your tag has been filled during LM season? It might be just as easy to buy a doe tag.

You need a valid tag. No "Party" hunting for muzzy season

This is what I was thinking but I was unsure if valid license meant unused tag.

Helping Other Hunters
Resident and nonresident deer hunters with a valid
deer hunting license may hunt with and assist other
deer hunters only in the season specified on their
license. Party hunting is allowed in the Shotgun 1,
Shotgun 2 and the January Antlerless-only seasons,
and hunters must have a license valid for the county
where a shotgun is a legal method of take.

This is another one of those grey areas where it is best to contact your local CO. My Co told me that I could not assist someone during late muzzleloader season unless I had a valid tag. You can group hunt during late muzzleloader, you just cannot party hunt i.e. fill someone else's tag.
