I'm looking for a good ATV mounted spreader that won't fall apart after its first use. Anyone have any suggestions on what to buy or look for? Needs to have a fairly large capacity and can be used for salt/sand as well as grass seed and larger seed.

I have a one heavy enough for farm use that is made by Herd. It may not have enough capacity for what you want. It also has a vibrator in the bottom of it for grass seed.
 
Do you have an Ace hardware store near you? I looked at some today that are pretty beefy there, can't remember the name of them. I'll get the link to them tomorrow when I get to work.

Be careful about putting salt in them, we bought 4 spreaders acouple years ago that were designed for seed. When the salt got wet and ran down into the motor it wasnt good. I think all four are toast now. Make sure it rated for salt.
 
Wow... For 300 it looks like a real solid unit. I have used a guys electric seeder, something simialer, and he told me it was like 400 and it wasnt that heavy duty looking.
