One of many I took here in Northern Iowa. We see them once a year it seems- this year multiple times. This was the best- they really danced across the sky

Central Iowa last night

We had a decent view in south central PA. My daughter got some beautiful pics in Florida too!

I used to go to Quebec fishing for several years and got a close-up view of the Aura Borealis, amazing! Along with the stars that looked so bright and close compared to the lower 48. Nothing like a crystal-clear sky and the dead silence with the exception of the Loons sounding off. Sometimes they were far away but being so quiet seemed like they were very close. Nature at its finest!

This was near Lake Rathbun. I have seen them all over the far North and in Iceland but never this clear in Iowa.

Don't know anything about them. Is it too late now? I was out of the country the last week but am near Rathbun most weekends.
