Baby broadheads

I just recieved a package from Cabelas that a friend sent as a present that contains a set of Rocket Ultimate Steel 100 grain broadheads. And are they little! They look great on the Axis arrows, but has anyone ever shot anything with these baby broadheads?

Yep, 7/8" cutting diameter. Kat, Dirtball and myself all had success with them. I like a larger cutting diameter but they flew great. I want a bigger hole. Tough to build for clumsy fingers.

Have 'em and love 'em. I shoot them on Axis arrows and they work great except... they toast the end of the arrow when they hit something. Whe the blades open they split the end of the arrow.

Hey Ogz I think you must be thinking of the steelheads, which are mechanicals. I think the post was for the ultimate steels which are the fixed blade version. Although I think the cutting diameter is pretty much the same if not the same.

Ryan,

Try some Snuffers infront of that Wid'r when you get it going. They fly great with lower arrow speeds. Ray Charles could follow a Snuffer trail.

Anyone bagged a deer with the cheaper versions. The Eastman outfitters from wally world. I picked up a 3 pack and the shot right where my field points are, no adjustments. Just curious on how the will do to poke it through a deer. Had to give it a try for $7
