I'm looking at purchasing a backpack sprayer and thought I'd see if anyone has a particular one they have had good luck with? Thanks.
For winter storage I just dump all of the water out and put maybe a half gallon of rv antifreeze in it and spray until pink is coming out and forget about it till spring. After using a couple of different brands over the years, I now have a "built to take it" Stihl, which I would recommend.
Here's the warning though...don't store this type of device where it is susceptible to freezing, like in an unheated machine shed, outdoor storage container, unheated garage, etc. Although I haven't taken my last one, before the Stihl, apart to confirm...I think there was just enough water left in it to freeze...and then the seals don't hold, etc.
Ahah...well you are smarter than I was. That would work too, just don't let them sit just water where they can freeze up.For winter storage I just dump all of the water out and put maybe a half gallon of rv antifreeze in it and spray until pink is coming out and forget about it till spring.
