Backpack sprayer recommendations?

I'm looking at purchasing a backpack sprayer and thought I'd see if anyone has a particular one they have had good luck with? Thanks.

After using a couple of different brands over the years, I now have a "built to take it" Stihl, which I would recommend.

Here's the warning though...don't store this type of device where it is susceptible to freezing, like in an unheated machine shed, outdoor storage container, unheated garage, etc. Although I haven't taken my last one, before the Stihl, apart to confirm...I think there was just enough water left in it to freeze...and then the seals don't hold, etc.

For winter storage I just dump all of the water out and put maybe a half gallon of rv antifreeze in it and spray until pink is coming out and forget about it till spring.

Ahah...well you are smarter than I was. :) That would work too, just don't let them sit just water where they can freeze up.

I’d look very hard at this family company if you’re in the market for a battery powered. Personally I’ll never pump again. I’d buy this one again when I need a new one.

Love these. Big difference…. Piston (might be diaphragm I think?) pump…. Doesn’t get clogged. Can use powders, whatever. I’m not gonna say it can never leak, but probably leaks the least of any backpack sprayer I’ve used. I do like my stihl but I usually just grab this one. Probably some others that are better but I don’t use em a ton so this is “plenty good”. For sure not an expert on BP sprayers so read above & curious others feedback as well.
****& BTW…. The user name above “Beer Guzzler” …. I was literally laughing out loud at that name. Good one!!!! :)

I have about 10 of these scattered at different properties. I usually dedicate a sprayer to a single herbicide so I don't have to empty and clean them hence why so many.
