That is going to change. I drove one last week with a hydro, And i believe there will be 1 at the farm progress show next week.

Ummmmm, well, my Rhino has tried to kill me twice, both were absolutely my fault but it, like me, takes a lickin and keeps on tickin.

I'd like to get the new Rhino with the bigger fuel injected engine, but everytime I mention it my wife punches me in the shoulder to remind me of what I'm putting her through. That pretty much puts an end to the dream.

My Rhino, when I'm not putting it on it's side, has gone everywhere I have pointed it. I've used it to rake hay, cultipak, get deep into the woods to hang stands and plow snow.

Now, to the question of BBB, I've never driven one, but I have seen them at several shows. There was just something about the suspension and drive train that just wasn't right to me. I can't remeber for sure what it was but it just looked akward. Either that or the last Rhino roll knocked my knoggin more than I thought.

Buddy of mine won one on the freaks show a couple of years ago. He wasn't impressed. he already had a ranger 700 and loved it. The bbb's braking system is a death trap if your in steep terrain. The suspension is also worthless IMO. It threw my back out retrieving a couple of does in late season last year. And finally there no speed demon. Ive ridden in golf carts that were way faster. also I would'nt want to try and pull one out of the muck as much as they weigh. Thats my $.02.

Maybe a used golf cart would be the way to go if your land has decent trails and isn't mountainous. It would be way cheaper to get started and if it didn't work out you could flip it. (that means sell in Bonk) /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif May need some ATV tires for dew/rain...

Ya know, i think your right. I have been doing some research the last couple days and found a site thats all about carts, or buggies. It looks like many memebers there have built their own from a golf cart. Looks like the cart manufacturers sell their own lift kits and everything else to build it yourself. I wouldn't mind taking on a project like that. As long as i would get the right suspension underneath it for the terrain, it should be quite a bit cheaper than the BBB.

They even have a forum for lifted, off road carts. Some of them look pretty sweet.

If you just want a quiet cart to get to and from stands, etc, then consider an old golf cart. If you need power, then go with a gas engine. Although I really don't have anything against BBB's I think when you go to replace the batteries you will wish you had something else.

Test drove a Artic cat prowler today, and have to say that I was quite impressed with the machine. Never been much of a fan of artic cat, but the prowler seems to be a nice machine. Pretty quite to.

from the lawsuit commercials i've seen, the rhino's must be prone to rollovers........even if you don't drive like bonker

Bonker is a special case. He could tear up a crow-bar in a sand pile! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

And I gots the bar to prove it. Actually, it was a 5 foot rail bar with an 8 foot cheater pipe. Didn't know there were still bolts (grade 8) holding the cultivator in place. Physics suck. 11 foot of lever, two foot from the cultivator to the fulcrum and about 400 pounds hanging on the end of the lever. We put it in the press and straightend it back out. Still not 100% straight, but what the heck, its a rail bar.

I really really really hate it when you are right. Even though it only happens about once a decade or so. Just ask your wife.
