I was out walking some public today and found three new treestands. The thing that I noticed was that there was deer cocane and grain not more than 10 yard in front of the stands. This just upsets me when some guy gets that greedy to take a buck.
 
1-800-532-2020 is, I belive, the TIP line. Isn't it also against the law to leave a tree stand up over night on public ground?

Get them nailed, Some guy ruined som of my favorite area by putting a salt block inthere, now i dont hunt it.
 
I think you can leave the stands overnight, there are restrictions on when you can hang them (a day or two before season) and the method of hanging them (not supposed to harm the tree).

Sounds like a pretty clear case of baiting to me unless the person hunts with a camera.
 
You can put a stand in public ground no earlier that 7 days before the season and has to be out 7 days after the season ends. And that baiting business is not only illegal it's wrong.
