Set a cam in my friend's haystack. Normally they won't move into them until late Dec.or better but they are in already. Hope to update this thread with some good bucks over the next month and maybe scoop some bones out of here and nearby beginning in a month or so.
:drink2:

One worth keeping an eye on for a couple yrs, hope he loses his bones nearby.

I have a doe tag but have had no time. On Fri. I may roll down there, toss on some white, climb on the stacks, watch their tv through my binos and pretend I am looking over a Jan. . standing bean field in the Midwest. They are going to pour in and if the wind is right, blood will pour from a doe after an arrow blasts through her.

SASKGUY, i KNOW YOU PROBABLY TOLD US ONCE BUT i AM TO LAZY TO LOOK BCAK AT ALL YOUR POST. pLEASE WHAT KIND A TRAIL CAM DO YOU HAVE FOR THESE PICS??

I saw this buck a few times while hunting reasonably close to here in Sept. I last saw him almost two miles west standing beside the road one morning on the way to work. Glad to see he's still kicking. I moved the cam, obviously.

Too bad he busted off the right g3,..that was going to be a good shed. He'll survive the last week if he stays put.

Great photos as always Kaare! Just gotta love those northern whitetails! Just curious as to the battery life on that homebrew? I used one earlier this fall and the battery life was terrible. It was run off a sony s200 I believe, older model, took good pictures, just a bit tougher to figure out how to run and of course had battery problems.
