bass pro in altoona

freakin sweet store! tons of mounts, in some pretty impressive displays. the uncle buck's bar and grill looks pretty sweet and the staff looks incredible. the main thing that sets altoona apart from other stores....the shelves are all full. the only thing they seem to be out of are $5 teeshirts for the moderately fat. they have small, medium, large, xl, 3xl, 4xl, but if you wear a 2x, you better look for the $10 shirts. since their grand opening is next wednesday through the weekend, we thought friday, mid afternoon wouldn't be too busy..........WRONG! parking lot was full, and there were people everywhere. i read online somewhere, that altoona was the busiest "soft opening" ever at bass pro. and i believe it. the only negative (other than the teeshirts for chubbies) is that there wasn't enough people at the gun counter when we were there.

I stopped by for 3+ hours on Wednesday. Awesome mounts, displays, etc. 100% worth the stop if you are remotely close.

We are going up there Wed. afternoon to grill out for Pheasants Forever. I know what I'll be doing during my breaks!

Im pumped to go in there... Just gunna wait to do so for a while! Ive seen the parking lot a couple times when I have Drove past... Wowza that parking lot is packed all the time!

Cant wait for student loans to come through.. my little extra money wont last me long if i go there.... but its time for some nice new camo! :D
