Battle to the death

These pictures were sent to me a couple years ago from my uncle. His friends in Montana where out and about and came across these two bull. They cut the antler off of the dead one to free the other. Kind of a cool experience. Not a bad set of bulls either.

That would be really neat to be a part of. It is too bad that one did die though. were they aloud to keep the remaining antlers or meat?

Nature is surely not painless. It's not if an animal will die, but how.
