BD year in review (PIC HEAVY)

I havent posted as much as in years past- and some of these pics have been shared in other threads- but here is the last years worth of adventures ive been on including yesterdays goose hunt. I am sure I missed some- but its going to be Pic heavy (advance warning)


spring snow goose hunt

Found my first ever sheds off Curly who was 6.5 years old (hopefully he made it through season)

Spring Nebraska turkey hunt- only Jake I have ever taken- but first non Iowa turkey

First turkey I have reaped with archery equipment

Spring time bonus find

Caught many this year with buddies, but this was the best Flathead on the year

no till plot work caught on trail cam

it turned out great

first water cam- produced some great videos of turkeys, deer, bobcats and other wildlife getting a drink or playing in the water

Wyoming Antelope and prairie dog adventure. didnt connect with a bow (had a couple chances) but harvested my first speed goat later with a rifle

good fishing trip with a few close friends

Wife shot her second deer ever

Only all day sit was one of the colder sits in November-

had a mid day encounter with this buck (my tree stand is left side of picture) but no ethical shot presented itself that day

Freezer filling kind of weekend

tried my luck on some predator calling- no luck yet but still trying

Last day success on a bonus buck that I had to back out the night of the 10th and tracked the following day

went goose hunting over the weekend- 7 man limits back to back days

My freezers are definitely full snow geese were turned into summer sausage, Flatheads were all released- antelope turned into brats from edgewood ( Amazing tasting- cant wait to go on another hunt) All deer processed and turned into different items or kept straight cuts. ground, turkey is always done Panko breaded way and geese will soon become some goose sticks
