We got back from Arizona late yesterday, we were visting the boys and meeting our new grandson. It was a nice week. But seeing and hearing what the AZ hunters have to go through just to hunt makes me thankful for what we have in Iowa. Most AZ residents that hunt big game can't even go in their state until they draw a tag (10 to 15 years) I'm told. Then after that have the additional problem of somewhere to hunt. There was a bunch of other stuff I heard too but I'm not gonna make this that long. I guess my point is, when the Iowa lawmakers are debating bills concerning deerhunting and it's something you don't like, you better stand up and make some noise.

Cool pics Moose, was that the Prescott area???

Anyhow, it was frustrating listening to the AZ residents last year when I was there for the summer also. I talked to a few guys that put in for all over the state to bowhunt and they still only have a 10-15% chance of drawing a bull tag, it has actually switched there so that a Non-Resident has about as good of a chance as a Resident due to the income out of staters brings, lets hope it never turns that way here

They live in Phoenix and my other boy there lives in Tempe, but they're only 10 minutes away from each other.

Well take a look at me and my brother (musky hunter) and you can quicky deduce that it didn't come from my side of the family.
And I'm concidered the good looking one of the clan.......
