Hi 311, I did bait down there, we call it the Pasture Stand. If you look on my blog you will hear it referred to often. We had some bears there this year, but it was inconsistent and not much daylight activity. The bear in the video was shot about 8 miles west of Pine River on county ground just on the east side of the Foothills. I did not bait on the Bull moose trail... too many 4-wheelers tearing through there for me.

Yea, I found a few of your bait signs in behind Sawyers a few years ago.
I did pull a tag but for 44 but have had very limited time to hunt when the weather has been nice. I refuse to hunt in the rain with the bow for fear of blood trail being washed away. Had one single cub come in the first night I hunted but thats been it. Now my bait hasnt been hit for the last 4days, guessing its cuz of the acorns. Im not overly excited for deer season this year so I probably stick to the bear hunting for another couple of weeks. I had all sorts of daylight activity(more daylight than dark) from 2 yearlings, 1 small boar, and a sow w/2cubs. All times of the day, super hard to pattern.
