My wife and I saw our first fawn of the year last night. We were sitting on our deck as a couple does began to feed in the field. As we watched we noticed a small object moving close by.
It was neat to watch the fawn try and nurse and keep up with mom. She also had last years fawns with her, I'm assuming
She spent most of the time trying to run the two off, they stayed a safe distance away most of the time. It just reinforced my belief that you never want to
cross a mother
No matter how many times I see things like this, I never get tired of it. God's creation is simply amazing.
