beginners luck????

That is a buck to be proud of! As others have said, great work in leaving overnight what you thought was a gut shot animal. I know many with more experience than you that still don't seem to know what to do. Congrats on a great buck!:way:
 
awesome awesome awesome. Welcome to the addiction. I had to laugh when you said you went hunting because you didnt have anything else to do. I have a feeling that attitude may change a bit now. Congrats again.
 
just so you all know I AM ADDICTED. I heard so many story's of people that shot a deer, and track it only to bump it and never recover, that was the last thing I wanted to happen! so i decided i would rather be safe then sorry.
