Best food plot to attract deer?

I am putting a food plot in this year on a ridge in the middle of a 30 acre tract of timber. It will be around a half acre in size. Im going to spray burn and rake the ground up throw the seed down and fertilize. What should I plant to attract the deer? I was thinking honey hole.

For a first time I would probably go brassicas just because the cost of seed is so cheap. At the same time, if it is remote and hard to get equipment to might as well put in all the time and work on a perennial like clover because I guarantee once you put in all the time and effort the following year you will remember how big of a headache it was and not want to mess with it yearly.

Start with brassicas and then frost seed clover this winter.
