Best Insect Spray?

Sorry to ask this again: I asked this last spring but can't remember the name of the product everyone recomended. What works best to keep ticks off. My previous post about a bug suit, had a good answer, but I think I might have to postpone an investment, so what spray works best? THANKS.

Anything with Permetherin in it. Deet has this product but a little over priced. usually it is only about 10% permetherin and the rest filler.

I've heard that DEET isn't real plastic friendly. A quick google search turned up a few hits that agreed. I found this hit interesting: Consumer Reports

Might be worth a try.
