Scottonbuck, there are more than a few "neighbors" that hunt to the north of this property that probably don't want to be classified as "orange clad shotgun toting fudd's.

I would have to agree with this one.
 
I drive all over iowa for my job and get to talk to locals in all areas. I see the genetics as well sometimes, I was by mason city where these guys have a section they manage, soil is unreal as well as food and genetics- 200" bucks with RELATIVE consistency. Normally no one would think of Mason city as amazing- and they are right BUT these guys with management have a gold mine, same story as Iowa Falls where I was talking to some hunters at the hospital today. I love Southern Iowa but interesting to see and think "out of the box" on "what could be" if conditions were right.
