A Few Steps Ahead Of You
Was having a discussion recently with a couple buddies and I was wondering what you guys consider the best cinematic features that include a little outdoor interaction??

Not hunting vids, but actual movies......

Here are a two of my favs...

-The Edge, Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin
-A River Runs Through It, Robert Redford and Brad Friggen Pitt

There's a ton of em, any other suggestions?

braveheart - he stabs a guy in the throat with an antler and also goes bow hunting for some kind of stag - best movie ever

movies

Children of the corn (no actually just kidding on that one)

Not sure if this would qualify but I would say---Jaws

Deliverance is another good one.

anybody remember the movie BEAR?? kinda agenda driven, but a good flick

I remember my parents taking me to the theater when I was a kid to see a movie called "The Wilderness Family". A family leaving the city to live in the wild. Building their cabin from scratch and fighting off cougars and bears, "Ol' Three Toes" :D I grew up wanting to be Toby in that movie. :way:

The Last of his Tribe....I think that is the name of it.It was a movie about Ishi and how he was found in the wilderness of California.Ishi taught Saxton Pope how to bow hunt in the movie. I only got to see the movie once and have looked for it in video stores for a long time but never found it.
