My muzzy buck had a nice drop in velvet but managed to bust it off at some point. Tom Sexton is an amazing artist, not much more to say, he did seen unbelievable job repairing the drop. 20180111_134716.jpgFB_IMG_1522097965762.jpgFB_IMG_1522097970928.jpgFB_IMG_1522097980585.jpgFB_IMG_1522097986832.jpgFB_IMG_1522098004714.jpgFB_IMG_1522097994402.jpgFB_IMG_1522098000933.jpg

You must "know somebody"? ;) I thought I heard Tom's work was a couple years out... Awesome job!!!

I think it really depends on the project. Mine was a really simple fix. He rotates between the real doosies that take months and the ones that take weeks like mine.

Wow! So, did you find the broken tine, and he reattached it, or did he have to fabricate an entirely new tine from scratch?

Completely fabricated from scratch. Just used velvet pic and good judgement to get the length and angles. The dried velvet is just a fun add on

JUST A FUN ADD ON!

That just made me laugh! I wish I could afford to fix a couple with "Just an add on"!

Well, the drop was there to begin with. He asked me if he could try out a new replica velvet recipe so it didn't cost me... this time.
