Yes, I was. Actually the bobcat is a distinct species in the Lynx genus.

Moose270 traps these and from what the post says above i don't think he knows what hes trapping from looking at the picture it is defintly ,no doubt about it a bobcat. And he said it was a lynx, just thought it was funny

I have never seen a bobcat before, but I was fortunate enough while traveling to Alaska via the AlCan to have caught a lynx out and about. There was snow on the ground and he or she was right next to the road and it turned and ran to the timber and all I could think was wow look at those snow shoes. It was a beautiful site.
