Here's a big one sent in by ISHEDHUNT. It scores 13 1/2 on the on the F&S scoring system. (fungus and spore) Ok I may have made that up.

Are there typical and non-typical categories with the Fungus and Spore scoring system?

MAN I WISH I HAD A DIGITAL CAMERA!!! I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GET AWAY FROM WORK FOR A DAY TO GO TO NOTHERN NEBRASKA WITH A BUDDY OF MINE. DID WE EVER HIT THE JACKOT. IN ONLY 20 MINUTES WE FOUND 25# OF MORELS WITH MOST OF THEM BEING AS BIG OR BIGGER THAN MY FIST.
I FINALLY GOT TO EAT SOME OF THOSE INSTEAD OF LISTENING TO ALL OF YOU TALK ABOUT HOW GOOD THEY ARE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY BIG ONES BEFORE. MAN WERE THEY GOOD!!!

Ok here is another one, just for the heck of it. Found it a week and a half ago. It's 9 3/4 inches long and 5 1/2 inches across. I guess it would score 15.25 inches.

That's a real bruiser though.

Jay, my younger brother actually found some larger ones. I just didn't have the camera with me that day. I know two of them he found were over a foot tall, just not very big around. I've hunted for 35 years and I only remember it being like this a few times. I'm sure it will be a good long time before it's this good again.
