I walked around the classic looking at new bows, not that I'm in the market for a new bow, I just wanted a side by side by side comaprison of what I consider the "Big Three", Mathews, Hoyt and Bowtech. It seems to me that every body carries two of the brands but not all three. Either they have Mathews and Hoyt, Hoyt and Bowtech or Bowtech and Mathews. Why is this? Some kinda licensing or dealership agreements?

This was just my observation and I sure could be wrong. It is also not my intention to slight any other bow manufacturers. I'm just curious why I didn't see these three bow brands side by side by side?

Maybe you don't, but just up the road in Mount Vernon Lynch Ford now sells Ford, Chevy and Pontiac. I expect fist fights on the show lot.

Bonk, I think it may be some sort of licensing thing. The local Scheels carries Bowtech and Hoyt but said they can't carry Mathews because there is a Mathews dealer within 30 miles.?.? Not sure about that, but, that's what he told me.

I know Mathews will not allow dealers to be too close to each other. Don't know the exact distance. Fin and Feather in Iowa City is a Mathews dealer so Scheels in Coralridge Mall isn't.

The Scheels in Jordan Creek sells Mathews and CIA (they area mathews dealer) is only about 10 minutes from them. They sell Hoyt, Mathews, Parker, and some PSE.

you must drive fast. isn't CIA over by altoona?
 
It would be nice to see them carry other brands, APA among one of them, for the limited brands that they carry the prices seem to match, not exactly but close, it would be nice to see several others out on the shelves instead of 30 bow from the same company...
