Like one of the other posts said, he must have swam the river. Then in another post there is actually a picture of him swimming the river just north of Lansing.

No this guy is born and breed right here in Wisconsin. Now the hard part, putting the tag to him. Or maybe that will be the easy part next weekend if everything goes well. Have not seen much of this guy in the fields early though. Mainly after dark. Too many passer byers. But who knows maybe he will slip up early or in November and I will be able to send a goldtip right through the boiler.
