I've known of him for a few yrs since I scooped a decent high 50's 5pt out of a snowy field a fewyrs back, bladed g2. The following January I found the opposite side right beside a fence. It had the same bladed g2 and brow tine, it was a mid 60's shed. Last yr I stumbled on the right side, again by a fenceline, it was bladed up real good and at 70" was one of my best sheds of the year. I have always wondered about old "Blade" because I have never actually laid eyes on him and the vman finally captured him on a scrape this week. The pictures were taken on the opposite side of the river from which I found all three sheds and between 1 1/2 and 2 miles north. They sure do move over the course of the year. I'm rooting for the old timer, I'm guessing he's now 6 1/2 and not a huge scorer, but what a great buck. I am thinking that he's avoided the rifles for this long, he's got a good chance of doing it again.
