Bluegills

...are starting to get on the spawning beds. I have pulled out about 40 of these in 2 nights of fishing. I released this big one but kept some real nice slab sized gills for eatin.

btw, are mushrooms done or are they still coming up?

I gotta get out and catch some gills before they spawn. I need to restock our pond that froze out this winter.

I haven't spent any time shrooming, but I hear they are finding them locally.

I've had equally good luck with both. Man, now I can't wait for my first all nighter of catfishin!
