Bobcats increasing in Iowa and urbanizing?

Has anyone else seen a jump in bobcat sightings. My uncle was out just the other day walking and jumped up a bobcat in a drain ditch. He said it never ran away just walked off slowly while looking at him. This will be number six in a weeks period I've heard of seeing them. And are they getting less spooky towards humans. Could this possibly become a problem moving closer to town?

I have only hunted in s. iowa 3 yrs now and have already seen 2. This past oct had one sit under my tree stalk a fawn and pounce it, the fawn fought it off. I have a couple pics of him under my stand.

I have seen 4 in my life. 2 in Boone county and 2 in Monroe County.
