Bobcats

[Central Iowa]

Thought I would share a picture of two Bobcats from a Southern Iowa farm in a food plot planted the last week of August consisting of Buck Forage Oats, Winter Wheat, Grain Rye, Austrian Winter Peas, and Purple Top Turnips. Wonder What they were after the picture was at 5:30 PM.

Seems like they are getting a well established population here in Iowa. I can't wait until they open up a hunting season for them

Awsome pics! I had a bobcat sniff the ladder of my ladder stand last year. Then, he started chasing a rabbit around in the CRP in front of me and he eventually caught it and carried it off. It was very neat.

Neat pic Central Iowa & Ghost! I keep waiting to see one sometime when I am calling yotes. People have been trapping them by accident by where I deer hunt. Had a couple of neat pics in the local paper of the DNR releasing the bobcats.
