It all depends on your comfort and style. I hunted in Rocky Bearclaw II 1200 gram but my feet started to sweat and cause chaffing. Now I hunt in Danner 400 gram Pronghorns. It is all about comfort. If you walk or if you sit all day. Have two styles with you. Have the warm ones for sitting and lighter for driving and walking.

lacrosse alpha burly 800gr. in my opinion there awsome... even though there a rubber boot they fit and wear just like a normal hunting boot they are very warm and theyll keep you dry no matter what
I like the danners. I have the quarrys for work and the pronghorns for play. I've had the rubber boots and they are very comfortable and warm but i get too many holes in them and always find out at the wrong time. I'm very hard on boots and wear them all day every day and the danners last very well.
