Well it all started on Friday night, THA4, JDG83, and I went down to the spillway at Brushy to catch some fish. When we got down there we seen carp everywhere. The wheels started rolling in my head and I thought to myself "I havent bowfished in probably 15 years. I should go and get out the old Bear recurve and set it up." So this morning I ran out to my parents house to get the bow and get the bowfishing reel. After re-serving the string on the recurve I was ready to go.
THA4, and I got down there about 3pm this afternoon. Fisherman everywhere were looking at us and saying to themselves "What the hell are these guys doing with bows?" Well after the first fish I shot they were coming up to us saying "hey there are some carp down here". So as the afternoon progressed we had a lot of misses and few hits. Here are few pics. You need to go try this sometime this summer!!
