I shot these side by side for a long time last night. Jumped back and forth. Took a break. Started with the other one, etc. I hated the draw cycle on the General. You have to give that extra jerk at the very end of your pull. I honestly couldn't feel any difference in hand shock or noise. That Marquis was the smoothest draw I've ever pulled. I never thought it would happen, but my Hoyt may be retired come Jan. 10. Oh, and I watched 2 other guys shoot the General for the first time. Both of them hit that point at the end and had to jerk back so hard that their arrow came off the rest. I suppose you would get used to it but in a cold hunting situation with a little buck fever I could see problems.
