IMO, If you got the cash to upgrade often great, but for those out their who are wondering if they need a new bow every year or two to be succesfull don't get drawn into the marketing of the bowmakers who make the newest handy dandy bow every year trying to convince you to buy the latest and greatest. Generally speaking a new bow once or twice a decade is plenty to keep up with any changes in technology.
Besides a new vehicle, the compound bow is probably the second most common item that depreciates once it leaves the store.:?archer1
