Brindle doe picture

Maybe this is common, but I have never saw this before. This does' coat seems to be about 75% black with some blotches of tan. I don't think it has anything to do with her changing from a summer to fall coat. What do you think?

That is a very rare photo you have right there. Not many people see, let alone get photos of does like that.
 
I could of swore I saw a doe like one time run in front of me on the road, but i could never be sure. I doubt i saw what I though, but your looks like it.
 
Maybe I'm not looking at the picture right but to me it looks like she is of normal coloration but is mostly in shadow (the black) with dappled sunlight (the brown) hitting her coat in spots....?
 
Actually, the original picture shows it better than the scanned picture. It is definitly not shadows as you can tell the sun is just starting to come up. The shadows wouldn't be that defined yet. I sure wish I had a full photo of her whole body.
