Bring back the recurve?

Schafers are a great bow. I had one and wish I'd never sold the dang thing. Had a BW, and consequently, had a wrist problem shortly after. I don't think they were for me. If I had a choice, it would be....

1. Dale Dye
2. Schafer...(all bocote, antler tips,antler knobs, checkering)
3. Robertson....with the Pierce points

Dye and Robertson are very similar. I just need another job so I can have them all!

what do you all think about Groves recurves?? my dad gave me his 55# @ 28 inch draw and he also has another one that i'm going to use. it's a take down with 55# limbs and 60# limbs and i believe it's ata 29 in draw. i'm starting to get pretty pumped to have the recurve along with my wheelie bow as back up!!

Never experienced a Groves, so can't comment.

I've been shooting Widows for 7 years and can't find a reason to change.

Robertson and Wallace's bows would be my next choices though.

A friend of mine owns a Wallace "Partner", the few times I've had my hands on it I found it shot as nice as any.

I shot a robertson till I went to the widow.
muddy,I have never shot a groves but have heard plenty of how good they are.
