After bringing in 10 different bucks to the buck decoy in the past two weeks, I decided to take this one. He came in at 9:09 a.m. on Monday morning in very strong gusting winds. I hunt on a ridgetop. He was in front of me for six minutes at 20 yards before I shot him. I have to say that I videotape all of my hunts by myself with a handheld camera so I got the shot and hit on film. He is a basic 10 point with a little sticker on one g-2 and a forked g-3 on the other side. His inside spread is 17 5/8, his live weight was 220 lbs., and his gross green score is 140 5/8. He had left at one point so I did some aggressive grunting on the Buck Growl and he circled and came right back in for the shot. He went 75 yds and left a blood trail a blind man could follow.
