Bucks grouping back up..

I have been seeing the bucks in my area grouping back up. Tonight I had 3 bucks come thru together. Two of them groomed each other for 3-4 minutes. Just checking to see if anyone else is seeing the same....

I have been seeing the same thing. Over the holiday weekend I spent basically four days in the stand and had several different groups of smaller bucks pass by. There was still a few small bucks chasing but no shooters. The early doe season may have had the bigger bucks laying low!

I saw an absolute giant tonight in Western IL while coming back from a call.....800 yards and I could see his rack and it looked to be 1/3 of his body....he was alone in a tilled under cornfield.

I have seen a big buck 3 out of the last 4 sits. Last night I had one of the most impressive 8 pointers I have ever seen come through the valley, just could not get a shot for the life of me...I saw 3 other bucks last night and all were just wandering around by theirselves.

CAMOUP been seeing the same for the past week or so. They were really hitting the food sources last night before the snow.

Two friends of nie saw 5 bucks yesterday morning all together. While trying to get my doe tag filled last night all I had a chance at were 2 bucks together. One a 130" class buck and the other a monster.

Heck, they're still ruttin' around here. found a smokin' hot scrap half the size of my bath tub last night. not 2 minutes later ole boy stuck his head outta the river bottom timber trailing his harem of at least 2 dozen does. Kinda happy to see that little doe hunt last weekend didn't stir 'em up as bad as I feared it would. the weds. before thanksgiving watched 2 different buck brawls, one fight was between 2 150+ bruisers. tomorrow's my last shot before 1st shotgun too tag one, wish me luck.

The only scrapes I am finding anymore is where they are digging in the snow to get to the clover

I haven't seen any groups of bucks but have seen a lot of deer pounding corn fields. I got permission to hunt a spot tonight that I have been wanting to bowhunt for years and it's loaded with deer. I got in for late muzzleloader in a couple weeks and bow next year.

I hope they are grouped up, that way I can pick and choose Saturday morning, or kill all of them.

I have seen a little of both. It seems though that only the smaller bucks are grouping up. Now, durring shotgun season, those deer are not going to care. The more eyes the better. Oh, and when the bucks groom each other, I'm 92% sure that is a sign of submission.
