Im sure you've seen this one but here ya go. I threw this together real quick one day with intent on building a oak one later, but now I'm just to lazy

Built this one in a few nights from some old barn wood. Gotta give my Dad props cause he's the master wood worker. It's 31 inches tall and 30 inches across. We used a stop sign to cut the pattern for the base and top outta 3/4" plywood. Splitt 2x4s on an angle for the frame to connect the top and bottom pieces then cut the barn wood edges on the same angle and fastened them to the frame. Sorry I don't remember the degree of the angles. As of right now we left 2 of the panels on the back loose cause I plan on adding a shelf half way up on the inside and hinge the 2 panels on the back for a hidden little closet. Good luck building your own pedestal. It means so much to me that my Dad helped me build this. I've got as much memories in building it with him as I do in the hunt

That looks amazing, Medicsnoke! I think that just inspired me on what to do with my next mount. Neat looking buck, too.

Are those 2 sheds right below the mount from the previous year? If so it looks like he really packed on the inches in that 1 year!

Here is a better look at the sheds. The front single was from 2009 (2yr old I think), then 2010 I found the match set, then 2011 I found a single the day after my cousin found the other on walk with his dog...if you look closely you can see the year wrote on the bottom of the shed. and BTW he wont give it to me
Well I got dooped by SHORTY for another whole season. Ended picking his sheds up again on the same hill top, same farm....Im in his wheel house but he still is outsmarting me. 3 years in a row.
