This blind was first one we made. Did some changes on the second one after learning from the first.

Used banks Vision Windows in the second Blind. Lot work but they came out great 100% insulated and finished inside and out..

We built from scratch.. the first roof we over thought it a bit. The second one we built once the walls where up just ran the lumber across , plywood, layer ice and water shield, then layer mineral roof over that..

The first one we built the roof in 2 pieces and lifted up it was a pain in the butt.. we learned a lot on the first made adjustment. 2nd one was a piece of cake. We built all outside the roof. Broke it down and in stalled wall by wall it was fast and easy . Ill see if I can post more pics give you a idea.

Put Platform up then install each wall one by one, once all 8 walls are up , then we build the roof on top.. Goes together fast when you install .. Once we where done we trimmed the sides with aluminum to trim it out and chalked. Painted inside black..

I have pictures of the first one we built roof at same time and installed in 2 piece if yall want pics we did it a little different but it was heavy and hard to install. We also built are own windows on the first one. Banks was easy and better set up for octagon blind bow hunting but they where expensive and shipping was outrageous.. but worth it in the end. I also bought metal platforms instead of building steps it was faster and saved time.

Nice work! Just curious, do you have numbers on the final cost? I'd be interested to know how they compare to some on the market.

Very nice looking blinds! If someone is looking to do the same and are looking for some really good windows, I would suggest deer view windows. We have built several blinds and always use deer view windows with great success.

We can usually get ours built for around $650.00-$700.00 (minus labor and a case of beer)

Those blinds look very nice, well done. We did something very similar several years ago now and we still use that blind several times per year, I am sure you will get a lot of good use out of them. It looks like your blinds are a little more spacious than the one we made, what are your basic dimensions? If we make another one, I would lean towards making it a little bigger like yours.

We made the blinds 7X7 basically it's 80 inches each way so close to 7 , I can give you guys a break down on cost but it was basically about $2200.00 that includes in the ground ready to go. Biggest expenses where about $800.00 for the windows with shipping , plywood and T-111 was about $500.00 total , Then you have you items that add up fast , 2x4's , roofing material , carpet, 6X4 post , carriage bolts metal trim for windows , nails , caulk , insulation , screws and what not... . I bought the ladder and platform from Shadow hunter it was $350.00 the ladder is great the Platform and rails are not worth it in my opinion. I went this direction because lumber cost and time on the first blind. Hopefully it holds up but it's not build like $350.00 should be in my opinion ... There was also a lot of time involved, but we have a blind exactly the way we want in the right spot so we are happy. Great room for Kids and overweight guys like me :)

Those are awesome. We bought a composite ready made, but yours puts it to shame. You have so much more shooting/viewing area than ours. Niiiiice!
