I set the blind this morning in the same spot as yesterday. Gobblers were on all sides of the blind just like yesterday. They quit gobbling after they hit the ground.
The same four birds I’m sure came over the same hill with a couple hens and they vanished in the bottom.
8:30 I was daydreaming and looked left and a tom was in full strut and coming in.
I miss the head/neck and hit him up high the bird jumped then flew a bit into he woods. I was sure I choked the shot then I heard wings flapping in the woods.
I would never have believed a body shot with a Bullhead would have a good chance on killing a turkey.
I have the shot on video but after the video was uploaded to three different devices it only plays back in slow motion which sucks but makes for nice screenshots in slow motion.
