Right on, more of our fresh water going to California, stiffer softwood tariffs on our lumber, and another 4 years without being able to sell our beef. hope he doesn't find out about the giant oilfields in northern Alb. and Sask. We'll be taken over soon.
I'm not trying to make a beef with anybody, politics are politics, I support that but you guys have no idea of all of the b.s restrictions imposed on us. Someone on chat last night mentioned the high price of stuff here, we have no choice, All the major industries have taken a real $h!t kicking recntly.
Like I said, not trying to begrudge anybody's ploitical views but Bush has us by the "bush"

Loesshillshunter, it has alot to do with NAFTA but there is nothing free about free trade when it comes to our country trading with you guys, it's that simple. A country with as many natural resources as us and the abundance of them we have we should be afiring far better economically than we are. We're a great country in peril...it's the truth. Ranchers...forestry people are not making ends meet, not even close these days.

Mark my word here-Our next president will be Hillary Clinton and the next VP will be Barack (SP?) Obama the guy from Illinois(?). I've said this all a long and my wife wants to kill me when I say it but the Demecrates knew they didn't have a chance of winning this election so they put Kerry to be the head of the ticket. They conceded this election cuz they know that after another 4 more years of Bush we will be so sick of him that Hillary and the Obama dude will be a shoe in.

I hear you. But who came up with NAFTA? It wasn't Bush. We have also suffered here in the midwest because of it. Hell an entire town found itself out of a job when Gateway decided to move manufacturing to Mexico. 19,000+ out of a job and 5,000 of those were in N. Sioux, population 2,300(?)And I hate to tell you but our ranchers-farmers aren't fairing all that well right now either.
