Bushnel 2.1 and New Moultries?

I'm pretty happy with my Bushnell I bought. It has a super fast trigger time once it's activated, but I think it has a sleep mode because the first pic takes like 10 seconds. After the first one the trigger time is about 1 second. Anyone else notice this or is my camera messed up. Also wondering if anyones tried the new moultries. They say they have a new 1 sec trigger time and a no flash version.

The board or electronics that run the camera unit likely sets itself to conserve battery life and essentially needs woke up prior to snapping a pic...I am guessing anyways. Check the manual and see if there is a battery save mode or a fsat trigger/short battery life mode

That's exactly how my Moultrie is setup..(with a battery saver/sleep mode)which makes it worthless on a trail unless it's facing almost directly up the trail.

Not to mention the battery life stinks...maybe the new ones are better...
