That would be a Holocaust for Cubs fans. No better way to run a team into the dirt, in my opinion. Not a cubs fan but wrigley has some serious history. I cant even bring myself to make a cub joke right now. I feel for ya. Go Redbirds. LOL!!!

They are the presumptive National Leauge Central Division Champs who just happen to have an awful spring training record and just blew a three run lead in the 7th to Kansas freakin City.
At least with the way they are playing in spring training I'm not geting my hopes up for the regualr season.

Even as a Cards fan, I would hate to see Wrigley out of the picture. It is sort of interesting that all these brand new stadiums are being built similar to the old ballparks like Wrigley ( less seating, seating close to the field).
That being said, I was at Wrigley this year the day before the Iowa FB opener and man, it does look run down. Then you look up and see these nets hanging above your head so debris doesn't come crashing down on you.
Another note about good ol Wrigley. It might have something to say with the average size/ weight of people today compared to when it was built. We were in the upper deck and I have never been so cramped at a stadium in my life! My arse could barely squeeze into the old metal seat, my legs had no room, but....the beer was cold! That made it a little more relaxing.
