Calling contest at Burlington

The Iowa State duck calling contest is in Burlington on Feb. 7. The winner qualifies for the national contest for which an Iowan has won 3 out of 4 years. Also there is a goose calling contest that pays $1000. Some of best callers on the country go to this event. There will be venders, good food, and cold beverages. Even if you don't waterfowl hunt, it is awsome to hear these guys call!

that's 2 days before my 2 year wedding anniversary...i wonder what the chances are of me talking my wife into thinkng that would be a fun anniversary weekend trip??

nothing against the art of calling ducks,but have you ever been in Cabela's and heard what goes on in thier. one big quack, about 10-15 guys qaucking nonstop. that's awesome.
